Knurled Gas Block Set Screws - 2 Pack

Upgrade your standard gas block set screws to these premium set screws with knurled tips. The knurled tips deform as they engage the barrel steel, so they are only to be used (ONE) time and then discarded. If these set screws are used properly with in combination with Loctite 271, you will not have to worry about these knurled tip set screws backing out, even with heavy abuse. These set screws will work in any gas block that takes #10-32 (.190″) X 3/16″ set screws. Some gas blocks use larger set screws, so double check before ordering. 3/32 hex drive Sold in multples of 2. Recommended gas block set screw installation procedure:

-Dimple the barrel with a quality barrel dimpling jig.

-Degrease/clean the threads of the set screws and gas block.

-Install enough threadlocker onto the threads of the screws. (Do not just drip it into the hole!)

-Install each set screw and torque to 25 in/lbs. If using a simple allen tool, torque until you see the handle bend.

-Wipe away any residual Loctite
